The Blue Pearl is inspired by the Moroccan city, Chefchaouen. Picturesque blue buildings fill the city, which dates back to the late 15th century. In 1492, Spain expelled the Jews resulting in the fleeing to the current city of Chefchaoun. Bringing along with them their tradition of painting the building's walls blue, to reflect the color of the sky and to be closer to God. The color inspiration for this mini collection is derived from the local spice markets. The silhouette of the collection is oversized and comfortable. The sample knit sweater-dress was constructed from three woolens yearns and a mustard mohair yarn. The knit consists of 5x5 and 3x2 technique created on a 5-7 gauge knit machine.
